FRC (Foreigner Registration Certificate) Services

Foreigner registration certificate (“FRC”or “form A”). A foreigner wishing to stay in Myanmar for 90 consecutive days or longer has to notify the township immigration. The FRC is valid for 1 year until 30th November of the respective year; an application for renewal has to be filed 30 days prior to expiry.

Where a foreign employee resides in a private property in Myanmar (i.e., other than residing in a hotel or guesthouse), the employee’s landlord will be required to complete a Form C, which declares the foreign resident to the local ward office.
